The Lady Chapel

Dedicated to the Virgin. It’s different compare to the other chapels. It’s the only one which is painted: beautiful colours and patterns. There are even stars(gold) on a dark blue sky on the vault, which clearly symbolises the Kingdom of Heaven.

It’s the most important chapel because it’s in the middle and perfectly in the axis of the chancel and the altar.

The stained glass windows are dedicated to Christ: (13^th)

• His birth and childhood
• The passion and resurrection
• The covenant between Christ and men(so thanks to him, by his life, death and resurrection, each man can pass from death into eternal lifeàthe salvation)
